Non-City Residents may obtain a burn permit through TN Division of Forestry at 423-263-7181

The City of Etowah Fire Department is comprised of 20 dedicated employee's who are highly capable and proud of their proffession. The City of Etowah Fire Department serves more than 4,000 residents and visitors, and has served for over 100 years.
The fire department administration supports continous training and encourages professional development. We reconize that our success depends on earning the respect, trust and confidence of our residents, employees, city administration and political leadership whom we serve.
The City of Etowah Fire Department is charged with responsibility of providing professional and efficient fire suppression, emergency preparedness, emergency medical services, fire and life safety education, light hazardous materials mitigation, pre-fire planning, and construction documents plan reviews. The goal is to provide the highest level of service in the most efficient manner possible.
