The City of Etowah will be accepting applications for a part-time Library Assistant/Children’s Program Coordinator until Friday, March 31st, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.

This position serves as a customer service representative, and is key in maintaining a positive public library image, participates in Library staff meetings, and assists in the development and implementation of innovative services which includes assisting in the coordination and development of childrens' programs. Applicant must possess both strong computer skills, and excellent customer service skills. Clerical skills are necessary to receipt library fines and service fees. Must be willing to work a maximum of 18 hours per week which includes Saturday's.

Part-Time Recreation Aide

The City of Etowah will be accepting application for a part-time Recreation Aide until Wednesday, April 5th at 4:00p.m.

The part-time Recreation Aid is responsible for relating information to the public concerning the programming of the Etowah Parks and Recreation Department and especially the specific community center at which the employee works. Duties include supervision of patrons use of the facility, receipting monies, operating a computer with facility management software, waiting on patrons entering the facility, answering the telephone, taking messages, maintaining records, room set up and tear down, and light housekeeping duties.
